H2S FOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN BANYUWANGI ; by Dr. inayatul Mukarromah., S.S., M.Pd
H2S tourism is a friendly, healthy, comfortable and safe tourism concept. This concept is under the spirit of tourism. It is Sapta Pesona and CHSE. The H2s concept had indeed been designed in advance by the Culture and Tourism Office of Banyuwangi, UIN KHAS Jember, POKDARWIS. H2S was known at POKDARWIS Jamboree on Pulau Merah, Pesanggaran District, Banyuwangi. The activity happened to be attended by the Deputy Regent of Banyuwangi, the Head of Provincial Tourism Destinations and Marketing, the Head of Banyuwangi District Tourism and Tourism Office and its heads of Health, Cooperatives and Trade Offices as well as the Halal guarantee agency team or LPH Team and Halal Center of UIN Khas Jember. The event took place from 15 to 16 December 2022. The event was like an audience between POKDARWIS Association, the community and a team from UIN KHAS Jember. Initially, the audience discussed Muslim Friendly Tourism (Halal). H2S concept certainly gets a positive response, considering the concept applied is a friendly concept for Muslim tourists and non muslim. The concept only related to how the already contain halal, hygienic and healthy. Distinguish or separate presentation, tools, cooking places and locations between halal and non-halal food and beverages.
Regarding food and drink in H2s, it relates to Creative Economy Tourism. So, in this case, tourism development is not now more conventional; the actors are only managed by people who understand Tourism expertise, linguistics, history, culture, economics, etc. Creative economy tourism is how to bring all tourism sectors towards poverty alleviation. Discussion of the seriousness of the follow-up of H2S was finally agreed on February 10, 2023, FGD with the Culture and Tourism Office, the Cooperative Service, the Trade Service, the Health Service, the Industry, Agriculture and Trade Service, UIN KHAS Jember, the Ministry of Religion Banyuwangi, the Indonesian Council of Ulama, PHRI (Hotel Association) and Indonesian Restaurant), POKDARWIS (Tourism Awareness Group) Banyuwangi Regency in realizing Halal Tourism in Banyuwangi.
After agreeing on the H2S concept with the Culture and Tourism Office, SKPD, LPH UIN Khas UIN Jember Halal Center, POKDARWIS, and PHRI, the event occurred on 11 February 2023. After the FGD with SKPD, MUI, Ministry of Religion, PHRI, and POKDARWIS, the team from UIN Jember immediately continued socialization in preparing concrete steps towards Halal Tourism in Banyuwangi (H2S) in Rogojampi District and Licin District.

This activity was carried out by providing material, discussion sessions, questions, and answers about Culinary Innovation in the framework of H2S Tourism (Halal, hygienic, and Healthy). Hyegene includes Restaurant employees, food, Equipment, and Supplies in the Kitchen. What is a tablespoon, serving spoon, salad spoon, soup spoon, dessert spoon, appetizer plate, dinner plate, and others? Dinner knife, steak knife, butter knife, fish fork, dinner fork, goblet, margarita glass, mug, etc.
After going through quite a long stage, the community could accept the H2S tourism concept through socialization which was carried out in advance, both from the PEMDA Banyuwangi through the Culture and Tourism Office of Banyuwangi, SKPD2 Banyuwangi district, LPH or halal guarantee agency UIN KHAS Jember, Halal Center UIN KHAS Jember, MUI Banyuwangi, PHRI Banyuwangi, POKDARWIS, IJEN Geopark district.
